Charlie, a Certified Chef, Private Pilot, and a courageous 9/11 First Responder from Long Island, Queens, New York, shared a beautiful journey with his beloved wife, Cheryl. Cheryl, a retired Legal Assistant from Nashville, Tennessee, and a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, brought her warmth and grace to their lives. Their paths serendipitously crossed in 2001 while both were vacationing in Naples, Florida.
After two years of nurturing a long-distance relationship between New York and Tennessee, Charlie and Cheryl decided to marry, building their permanent home north of Nashville. They explored many places together, but it was the profound peace and tranquility of the Great Smoky Mountains that truly captured their hearts. It is with deep gratitude and a sense of blessing that Charlie continues to honor their shared dream, managing their two cherished cabins in Gatlinburg. The Smokies, a place they both adored, truly offer something special for every guest who visits. If you're seeking the perfect getaway with all the comforts of home and those extra touches, "Sacred Mountain" and "The View" in Gatlinburg are waiting for you.
The Legacy of "The View" and "Sacred Mountain"
Cheryl and Charlie Neglia embarked on their cabin journey by purchasing "The View" at Gatlinburg in 2016, undertaking a complete remodel to create a truly special retreat. Inspired by its success and their shared vision, they acquired "Sacred Mountain" in 2018, which also underwent a full renovation. Their dedication to these cabins was a labor of love.
They chose Gatlinburg for its undeniable allure. "The View" and "Sacred Mountain" speak for themselves, offering breathtaking experiences. From the top deck of either cabin, you can soak in the majestic vistas of Mt. LeConte, savoring the sunrise with your morning coffee and breakfast. After a day filled with hiking, shopping, or making cherished memories, you can unwind, watch the sunset, or cool off in the pool.
Convenience was also a key factor in their choice. The U.S. Post Office, Police, and Fire Departments are all within two miles, offering peace of mind. A neighborhood supermarket with a pharmacy is just a mile west of the cabins, and the vibrant Arts and Crafts community stretches a quarter-mile east and west along Route 321. Horseback riding stables, golf courses, and picturesque hiking trails with waterfalls and picnic spots are mere minutes away. With all these essential amenities for an enjoyable vacation, Cheryl and Charlie knew this was the perfect location. Charlie is committed to upholding the standard of comfort and charm they both so carefully established.
